Could it be Dorco brand (ha, Dorco, what a dorky brandname, I'm not kidding. Up there with Grand Dink scooters). Is that why your neck looks like you've been using a cheese grater to shave with, necking with some romantic industrial machinery? The day I use a Dorco razor again will be post-armageddon, would have to be (but beards would be in style then).
I use, to shave my jiggly jowels, a razor cartridge that has two blades, and is coated with diamond. Yes, diamond. Now how indestructable is that? Really indestructable! The Hulk uses this razor.
BUT if you browse the shaving tools section of Emart, say, there are more slippery, higher tech, whisker slashing, mad tools available since I've last looked. WTF are titanium coated blades more wicked than my diamond coated ones. I know titanium goes on the skin of the Blackbird to endure redhot temps but is my beard redhot? And this triple bladed razor cartridge also has a battery powered, tiny motor that shivers the blades making it nastier, more 'whisker verboten!'. And they call this 'Nitro'. For the folks who enjoyed the moment in the movie, 'Gone in Sixty Seconds' when he kicks on the Nitro and bye bye, competitors. If I'm in a hurry for work I click on the little 'Nitro' motor and, whoosh!
Titanium coated, nitro, diamond coated, I mean you can, being a guy and into Popular Mechanics and its hovercars, personal minisubs, rocket backpacks and anti-gravity belts/personal space travel, see the future at the shaving tools section of say, Emart. These triple/quadruple, dayglo, contour gripped, stainless/titanium, ambitextro-rotating, lube-stripped, diamond/titanium coated cartridged, good to go, hightech whisker slashers are Christmas putting technology to the (your) facial test track Daytona. Your 'open it up', crank throttle, test track Indie 500. I'm pit crew AND driver when I change cartridges and click on the nitro (micro electric blade shivering). Or will (that's my dream razor).
For the women on the board reading this, yes, it's a pity you can't shave, it really IS exciting, hahaha. |

I've had a lot of bad luck with razors (yes, funny coming from a skinhead). For shaving my face, I find the only thing that won't cut me is the cheapest-assed razors you can get in any store. Anything fancier than that and I'll get sliced up. |

Couldnt get through your whole post.
But I've found disposable Schick Slim Twin w/aloe (green packaging) works best for me. Spend way too much money on the laser guided razors to figure this out too. |

Any gillette product is money. The new 5 blade model is great, as is the regular mach 3. |

yea, another for the mach3 by gilette. Additionally, the type of shaving cream/ gel (or substitute or lack thereof) is at least as important as the blade you choose. |

You should hold out for the six-blade razor I'm sure they're developing right now. |

I can't find FUSION (the five blade version) cartridges here in Korea, so I'm back to the MACH3 (3 blade version) but it does the trick.
I find that although 5 blades may sound a bit much, the individual cartridges last for more shaves the more blades they have, but thats just for my face.
Personally using disposable razors is completely out of the question for me, they have a tendency to tear my face off.. |

I use the Gilette Quattro Titanium but it seems to depend on the humidity or other elusive factors...some days I get a good shave and some days I just get a bunch of shredded skin and dried blood for my kids to point and shriek at.
Here's a question...do you shave with or against the grain (direction of hair growth)? I go against because otherwise I got echidna skin by about 3. |

I use the gillete turbo? I guess that's the one with 3? I dunno, Not sure what difference the 5th blade would make so I haven't upgraded yet. I'd rather dry shave with my current razor than wet shave with a single blade disposable, talk about hacking the hell out of my face. |

GIllete Mach 3 Turbo is great. I also get great mileage from the blades. Crazy expensive, though.
For a semi-decent cheap razor with 3 blades, the new Dorco 3-blade razor in the blue back is pretty good. |
