|

Does anyone have any information regarding the process to change a single re-entry visa to multiple re-entry?
How long does it take to process?
Can you do it at Seoul immigration airport?
What are the costs involved?
Thanks for your comments. |

You can't get a mulitple entry at the airport. You can recieve another single entry at the airport.
You have to go to immigration for the multiple entry. personally, I say take the time to go to immi and get it done. you don't have to worry about doing it again.
It takes about 10 minutes (after you wait in line for a while). They do it while you sit there. I THINK, its 60,000. |

That info is for if you are issued a single entry at the time you recieve your visa.
Americans get a free multiple entry at the time they receive their visa too. Or are supposed to. When I got my visa in Argentina, the guy honestly had never given out a work visa before I think. So, he screwed up and gave us a single. We had to pay 60,000 each after we got here to get it changed. Not cool. |

It's the same whether you get it with your visa or later.

Single re-entry can be gotten at immi or at the airport. cost is 30k won.
Multiple must be done at your district immi office and costs 50k won (unless you are from the UK or US.
It takes about 15 minutes after you get to the counter - done while you wait. |

I renewed mine on Jan 30 and it was 30k for visa renewal and 50k for my re-entry permit.
My wife and daughter (who are NOT the same citizenship as I ) paid the same (w30k/50k extension/re-entry).
US citizens get a multi entry E2 visa for their first time here but have to pay if they get an extension. If they get a new visa it is again multi-entry so there is no additional fee. |
