So this morning I was sitting in Starbucks Hyewha around 11:30 all by myself on the second floor reading Harry Potter waiting for a couple of friends to drop by around 1 when a young couple came in and sat down at the opposite end of the room from me.

They were sitting in these sofas with very high backs to them and proceded to start making out. Seriously heavy making out - the kind of stuff that even back home people would be telling them to "get a room". About 30 minutes into this the girls head drops out of view for about 10 minutes. When she pops up, she heads over to the bathroom and comes back. 20-30 minutes later, after it got busy, they left.

go figure.

Were they a Korean couple? I don't think I have witnessed anything like that during my time in Korea. I once saw a couple "at it" in a car near the top of Kwangju's mountain - mudeung san. This was at night though so not uncommon. Starbucks? Wow, that chap's partner obviously likes her coffee with extra cream!

I arrived a little later. The real story was the funny waeguk peeking over his Harry Potter book at the nice couple in the corner... "damn where's my digital camera when I need it" he said to himself... Wink

this, apparently is what koreans do when they're too strapped for cash to afford a DVD bong.

Wouldn't two coffees at Starbucks cost more than the DVD bang?

Yes. See what you missed? I told you that you'd find good inspiration for your drawings if you ventured out of your home a little earlier...

Damn! I do need to get out more often.

Let this be a lesson to yee all! Take Lemon's invitation to go see Kimchee King when he makes it. They provide live sex shows.
