|

I am planning on getting a PSP and I can't decide where to buy it.
Is the Korean or Japanese version of the PSP different?
For example, I know with the Japanese PSP, you can play extra games that you can't play with the North American version. Does this hold true for the Korean version too.
Or are the Japanese and Korean PSP's the same machine inside? I will be taking a trip to Japan soon, so I want to find out if buying the Japanese version is worth spending the extra bucks.
Thanks to anyone who answers. |

A Japanese PSP is going to be cheaper and will have a more recent firmware/software installed in it. Other than that, there are no differences. Get it in Japan but make sure you check for dead pixels. |

Pixels that don't change color properly. They can be sometimes be un-stuck but on a new device settle for nothing less than perfect. Just check the screen carefully and look for any pixels which don't seem to respond correctly. Then try a couple of games etc to check it. |
