So I've been hanging in the states for about 1 week. I have about 2 weeks left to go before I head back to Korea. To tell the truth, I have no desire to come back...but 5.5 mil straight cash a month is hard to walk away from. So what makes you come back? It can't be the scenery...because I'm chilling in central Florida where it has been 70 degrees every day..with beautiful coastlines and delicious food. Coming back here after 2 years over there....makes me realize that money/savings potential is the only reason to be in Korea...there is no other reason why any self-respecting white guy/gal should be over there.

I thought you had a Korean wife? Is that not a good enough reason to stay?

maybe... but if you are really interested in dough, go be a baker... esl is not a money maker... (my guess is that number you quoted is combined income, if not, you are doing illegals; and i cannot respect that; maybe you really are a pimp, or a FRAUD, or a sock; or the biggest billy-goat-pimp)... Question

Not too hard to make that kind of money if you get out of bed early. Tons of married guys making that much and more.

Why is that automatically a troll?

Why does one STAY in Korea? Oh ya, Im sure you pro-korea advocates are right. It's definately the beautiful beaches, clean air, amazing architecture, exciting career advancement opportunities, the abundance of food varieties. Yup, you got it, the OP is definately a troll if he/she doesn't think Korea is the be all and end all of the world. Rolling Eyes

There is one reason to go to Korea:

1. First timers adventure.

There are two reasons to perhaps stay:

1. Money/savings potential
2. Proximaty to other, more interesting destinations to spend your money in.

Seriously.... how's that a troll? Makes complete sense to sensible people.

And 5.5/month. Very do-able.

It's a troll. It isn't a troll. Whatever... I'm sure the Pimp doesn't give a rat's nut what I say.

But let's face it, the dude is just showing off and perhaps trying to get a rise out of people.

"Makes complete sense to sensible people." Rolling Eyes

"Oh ya, Im sure you pro-korea advocates are right. It's definately the..." Rolling Eyes

I don't begrudge Pimp his money - I hope he enjoys what must be a hard-earned vacation. And for the record, I like his posts when he's in character - when he's on, he's laugh-out-loud entertaining. But if he's actually trying to keep some of it real in his OP, and the best he can do is "there is no other reason why any self-respecting white guy/gal should be (in Korea)", it gets a roll from me.
