i work for an after school program and i have 2 contracts one with the school and one with some recruiting agency, the thing is they are forcing me to open a bankaccount and give them the book and atm card so that the school can pay the agency and then they give me the money after
so im quitting and need to know about how to get a letter of release for this kind of situation.

please help thanks

Do you have an E2 visa?
Who is the VISA sponsored by?

Don't worry about a letter of release. Your first call should go to the tax office and let them know that you've been an unwilling participant in this tax evasion scam. Sound the alarms and you may not be punished. Never, ever, ever give anyone your passbook and your pin. This is a scam that is used to not pay taxes and other crap.

After you call the tax office, go to the bank and close the account. But first get them to issue you a new bankbook and print all of the transactions since the account was opened into it. Tell them you lost the first one. This will be the evidence against the agency who isn't paying taxes.

After you've done this, then worry about the LOR. The LOR should come from whoever is sponsoring your E-2. That info is printed on the bottom section of your VISA stamp in your passport.
