I've noticed these have made a big come back in the last few seasons
i'm tempted but must admit there is still the association with the petty bureaucrat who has been in the same govt job for 50 yrs and /or birkenstock wearing school teachers to get past... |

How about black or grey ones? Or navy blue or burgundy ones? And how about one that's... sort of a "deep ivory"? A bit like the colour of keys on the old church piano.
Guess I'm lucky I'm not a man in your world, Satori.
Canuckistan, you're homophobic.

My late father always wore a cardigan on top of his shirt. I never thought it was weird or anything....
Should men not wear cardigans?! |

(On top of his shirt, no less!)
I take it you like them then, Tzechuk. Or at least are not openly hostile toward them. Thank you. |

a grey one with jeans and a t-shirt seems reasonable
its difficult though to keep a sense of perspective on this in the light of dongbangshinki etc... |

A cardigan on a man brings to mind the word "effete". It's impossible to be manly in a cardigan ... |

I wear them. I have 4 in mainly grey or black. I get a bit of a ribbing from some people. Doesn't worry me. They are warm, comfortable, and suit me. |

Yes, Guru. I have no problem with men wearing cardis...
But you are talking to a woman who buys salmon pink shirts for her husband because she thinks they are cute......... |

I have to disagree with the second line, but I'll go along with the "effete" characterisation to some extent, Satori. In my own case, I'll admit to it being somewhat affected, pretentious, mannered, etc. Though not feminine or cowardly or spineless or powerless (which are other synonyms the dictionary gives for "effete").

i hear pembrokeshire ones are friendlier - as friendly as they can be, i guess.
(we are talking about corgis, right? careful about your wallet, though. they're very tight, the cardies.)
(here's hoping a Welsh person reads this and gets it) |

I used to have a periwinkle cardigan in high school. Got a lot of slack for it, but next thing you know all the emo scenesters were wearing them, too. They all copied me!!! |
