Aw...you guys are soooo much cooler than the halfwits I worked with...I love your weird little drawings and think you could take them to New York or wherever and sell them for big money. Just blow 'em up real big and call yourself the illegitemate offspring of roy lichtenstein and a Kansas textbook writer. Seriously, you wouldn't believe the dribble people pay for. Not saying that stuff is dribble--quite the opposite in fact.
I wish I had scanned some of the doodles I made at the last garbage hagwon I worked at. They weren't as good, not by a mile, but they had some value.
Nice one uberschiesse--you are the Ubershyttindeed.

That was awesome! Nice work. One of the former teachers at the ECC I used to work at had done the same thing. So, whenever we started a new book I'd haul a new teacher's guide off the shelf. I was always pleasantly surprised to see what he'd drawn. I used to look forward to it, actually.

If you ever get ahold of an older copy of the new American Bible (The "official" one from '95 to 2000 or so), the inside covers are easily made into marlboro ads.

There are pictures of several saints, Jesus, and Mary holding up two fingers.

"Heaven is Marlboro country."

"Nazareth is Marlboro country."

And so on.
I guess it works better when you see it.

Good call. A dead ringer for Pettibon I would say. My students do the same thing in their textbooks, though nearly not as creative, but funny nonetheless. I made the mistake of laughing at a few of them, so they all started doing it. Now I have to take up all their pencil cases before the lesson.

Good stuff! I used to love those First, Next, Last stories. What book was that?
It wasn't the focus, but I saw a mole in there. *heh*

From a student, not a co-worker. Let's Go 5 Unit 5. I have to agree with her, that's what the picture looks like...
