|
|
Ive just got my new computer and now im huddled up against the wall trying to seep some of the unlocked wireless connection next door..
Alternatively, can anyone give any advice about which broadband plan that has fast speed and download limits for a reasonable price? |

as far as I know Korea doesn't not have download limits. I'm with Hanaro and I regularly get downloads from 7mb/s to 10mb/s. Monthly fee 32,000. |

unless you can speak Korean and are used to and happy with incompetent service, I wouldn't touch Hanaro with a 80 foot stick. I still wake up screaming in the night from some service encounters I had with them.
KT megapass stomps on Hanaro
you have been warned... |

3 years ago I dropped KT megapass for the same reasons the saint dropped hanaro...
Anyhow I"m happy with them and lots of people are happy with KT. |

can't remember as I arranged it through someone at work. It was decent enough. My download speeds went through the roof and the service was so good on the phone and in person that I wanted something to go wrong simply to experience it.
Like virus scanners, everyone has their favourites but please note:
if you need English service for your Internet DON'T use Hanaro cos they don't have any.
nuffsaid... |

not sure to be honest but it's somewhere around 40K a month (38K rings a bell). There's no question I'm paying more. OTOH, there's no question I would have done anything and paid anything to escape the evil Hanaro. The last issue I had with them was when my Internet died on a THursday morning. after an hour on the phone belabouring my pathetic korean they finally said they'd come round and sort it..... on Tuesday That wasn't the first time that happened either. |
