Anybody have a 30 GB Ipod for sale? I was looking at a 60GB, but I only need a 30GB. |

You may think right now 30 gigs is enough space, but trust me, you will be kicking your ass not buying the 60 gig version. Also, the battery life is much better on the 60gig ipod. |

I have a 1 GB, and the battery life is not good at all. I have had it only for 8 months. |

How much are you wanting to pay? I was thinking about upgrading my 30 gig to an 80gb... |

Read the manual before first using and make sure you follow what apple says in regards to charging it. If you have done that and the battery life is abysmal...then take it into a registered service center such as "UBASE" and you'll likely get a new one. |

I think in a few months I am going to get the 80 gig one. I heard the 30 gig one has had some problems. Anyone else hear that? |

I bought a 30gb iPod about 6 months ago and have had no problems.
Also, 30gb is more than enough memory unless you plan on having a movie collection on there. I have my whole music library on there which is about 10gb, and I download lots of short video podcasts such as news briefs. It has never been more than half full. You would have to put on quite a few movies to fill it up, which really isn't necessary since it's easy to take stuff off and put new stuff on with iTunes. Not to mention the 80gb models are slightly thicker and heavier. |

I have heard that more people are using IPODs for learning purposes whether it is languages or what have you? How many movies could you store on the 30 GB? As I understand, if you have the 80 GB it is like having an extra drive. That can be quite convenient, don't you think?
Of course, the price is something to look at. The 30 GB is much cheaper.
They don't seem to be that different in size, but I haven't seen them both up close. I was just looking on-line on amazon. Where is the cheapest place to buy one? Costco? |

reg: iPhone
Some people have suggested that you better wait for the iPhone. IMHO it's ridiculously priced and forces one into a 2yr contract. Heck its not even out in the US and there is so much hype around it!
The first generation of every Apple i* product has had issues. Besides an iPhone *MIGHT* be considered a replacement for the iPod Nano/Shuffle line of products. He's talking of a 30G model.
Oh and the iPhone has as of now been announced only in the US. No news outside the US. |
