Two questions given recent events:
1- Is the crappy air from China just as bad down there as it is up here in the north? I'm getting tired of getting choked out every spring.
2- Are immigration the total ball-busters they've been coming across as recently? This is related to question one. |

Air is fine, immigration is nice. Also, some people complain too much and make things seem bad. People have trouble with immigration if they break rules. Makes perfect sense to me. |

Air is fine.
Immigration is retarted. When I got my Busan visa, I was told that the copies of my degree were not valid because there were more than three months old.
Nevermind that they were CERTIFIED by the Korean consulate.
Nevermind that I had already gotten TWO E-2's, thus proving that I had a degree.
Nevermind, the official transcripts I submitted were just a few weeks old.
Obviously I'm trying to pull a fast one on them becasue I don't have a degree. Too bad, in all my evil foreigner scheming, I wasn't smart enough to forge the right date! Dang, you guys caught me!!!
Busan immi just makes up random stuff. Never heard of this happeneing elsewhere. |

Sounds like all of them.
So, cleaner air, typically goofy immigration, then? |

tron...when you've been here a year, you'll get a bit more context instead of your simplistic view.
Even before this last year, immi has been (seemingly) extra rancid at providing wrong (and contraditory info) from one teller to the next.
A friend of mine just went down and he got to a see FULL ON yelling match between two officials who were arguing over the rules....this AFTER he'd been there for over 2 hours. |

The first 2 posters that commented on the air...looking at their join date they might not have experienced a busan spring yet.
It isn't as bad as Seoul and some days when i am watching the news and people in seoul are suffocating it is perfectly fine down here.
In saying that there were a couple of days i can remember when it was terrible...gross. So there are some bad days down here in the south too when it comes to April and May |

I used to live near Seoul and the yellow dust is much less of an issue in the southern parts of the country. There are however couple unpleasant days |
