An excellent lecture/q&a with Ayaan Hirsi Ali. I adore this woman.

I have a lot of time for her, save for her thesis that Islam and democracy don't mix. That was debunked recently by a Dutch think tank who went on to show the plurality of views across the Islamic world. That aside, the kind of Islam she escaped from outright stinks.

Which 'Islam'??? I've questioned that Islam and democracy may mix but you'd have to admit that Muhammed was mistaken....rule comes from God not humans.....how do you get around the Prophet's example???
