They are talking about fixing English signs in China before the 2008 Olympics. It is just absoutely hillarous. |

An excellent metric for how far Seoul has come. I never really see anything so egregious in Seoul. |

If you turn to CNN in the last 10 minutes of the hour, you'll probably see the segment. I've seen it a few times today (I saw it first this morning and then again when I was watching the news at the gym).
I'll look for a link and post it, if I can find it. |

That's so true, if anything most of the signs I've seen are pretty good here in Korea. Gosh..I wish I could find it online. Some of the signs were so damn funny! |

Thanks. It's funny how disconnected I am from TV, not having one. I just assumed you meant online. |

Thanks for the link, that was great. I like how they actually had an English teacher on the segment. |

Lot of Chinglish in China but at least most big Chinese cities have made a sincere effort to provide English, and not just for tourists or the Olympics. Same can't be said for Korea where even it's self-designated "international cities" lack basic English information. So too the staff at the international airport in Incheon. |

Incheon is cruddy.Real basic lack of information in English. If you can't speak Korean, you basically just have to guess what bus to get on.
When is the train going to be in operation?2008?Doing it all by busses is nuts.
The old international airport at Gimpo wasn't that flash but it was connected to the subway at least. |

That is true, they don't have a website to look up bus routes here. I also have a hard time finding an English newspaper anywhere close to home other then at Juan Station. I'm leaving in three months to go back home, but living in Incheon hasn't been too bad. |

Are you serious? Unless things have gone ridiculously down hill in the last 2 and half years, getting the right bus at Incheon airport is immensely easy.
The info was on the airport site. Maybe they removed it... Nope. Still there. |
