I like English time because it has spelling, grammar, writing, and speaking practice. Furthermore, kids actually enjoy the reading segments, and if you let them act it out, they will actually practice speaking for fun. Another great thing is that units are exactly 4 pages long (6 towards the last books- but thats aimed at early teens), so its easy to maintain structure.
One warning, the songs are infectious. They will get stuck in your head for days, months, and even years. |

| I agree, English Time has been the best i've come across in my 3 years of teaching lots of material so you'll never run out in the middle of class. |

I recently switched to English Time for beginners and I love it (compared to Smile, Beeline). It is easy to extend the lessons with a self-prepared worksheet or writing assignment
I use it on Mondays and Tuesdays. On Wednesdays I have them do writing assignment based on what we learned, and then on Thursdays the students practice their speaking based on the Unit. Friday is speaking test day.
It takes three months to finish a book, four units per month. |

| I used English Land and thought it sucked, even though it did use Disney characters. I never used English Time though. |

| I agree with the majority of you guys. I've looked at them all and "English Time" totally rules. The kids like it and it touches all the bases. |
