Hey, did anyone see 'Alpha Dog?' It's a semi true story, I guess, about a really bad scene that went down in LA in 1999. It was kind of like a mix between 'the OC' and 'Bully' but, IMO, really well done. Anyone else see it? What'd you think?
I watched another one about stupid people in LA the other day, "Harsh Times." Again...really well done, I thought. |

Harsh Times is an awesome movie. The title's no lie, and you know there's no happy ending to be had here.
Christian Bale rocked this one, and did a great job of someone wrestling with himself and losing. A standout scene was when he was admiring his woman, and her peaceful life, while telling his buddies how he was going to take a job shooting women and children from helicopters.
"I'm going to be a soldier of the apocalypse, man".
Made LA look a very scary city. |
