I have a laptop to give away that is about 8 years old. It is an Acer pentium 368d, and has a small (less than 10) gig hard drive, cd-rom drive, and an external floppy.
Here is a picture, minus the floppy:

Pentium 233 MMX - 32MB RAM, 3.2GB HD, 20x CD-ROM, 12.1" color display.
There is windows 98 installed as well as a few other programs (tripmaker, quicken, and a word processing program)
The battery is essentially useless. Both hinges on the screen are cracked, so you must open it with care. However, once opened and plugged in, the computer is good for basic functions.
This particular laptop has been to college, university, seminary, China, Tibet, and Japan, but I imagine there is something it is still good for--maybe someone who likes tinkering with old machines.
If you want more information or pictures, I'm afraid I'll have to charge you for my time trying to figure that out.
This wonderful piece of computing history is yours for free (pickup in Sokcho) or for $10 (paypal) to cover postage and gas to mail it to you.
I also have a very small manual feed portable color printer--Canon BJC-50. This was quite expensive when I bought it ($450), and I really haven't used it that much--I figure it's cost me about a dollar a page so far, so it would be nice to get something for it. First 50,000 won obo takes it. It's about 1/3 the size of the notebook, has an infrared port for wireless printing and still has a couple cartridges left, so I think it's good for someone who needs portability--say printing in an airplane or something.
See the amazon listing here: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-BJC-50-Color-Bubble-Printer/dp/B00000JH71
I also have an old film camera--it was a pretty good one 15 years ago, and worked well last time I had fresh batteries in it. Free for pickup or with either of the above items. Actually I have two--a petax and an olympus - take your pick.

If you want just one (or both) of these, pay $5 for shipping and they're yours.
Jenga Extreme games Brand new--15,000 won + 4,000 shipping each.
Dual Voltage Proctor-Silex mini portable steam Iron - worked nicely last time I used it. - free + shipping

I hate to throw out perfectly good, although archaic, electronics. PM me if you're interested in anything above. |

The laptop and iron are gone--sorry to those of you who pmed but didn't get it. First come, first served.
BTW, I have a vaccum cleaner I am willing to ship to your door for 35,000. It's in great condition with some cosmetic damage (The handle on the motor broke off, but it was only there for cosmetic purposes, not designed for actually picking up the motor, something my wife didn't realize!) Shipping included, it's going for about 1/8 of it's original cost. If no one takes it, it goes to my sister-in-law next time I go to Seoul. |

Here are the stats on the vacuum:
It is an LG model, 500 watts, and is about 3 years old. My wife accidentally broke the handle on the motor, but that does not affect the performance at all--it still works great. I'll throw in the bags we have left, and it's easy to find cheap replacements at any LG shop or supermarket. It comes with both a swivel floor attachment and nozzle.
This model sells new these days for about 90,000 won (it cost a fair bit more three years ago). I want to sell it fast, so I'll ship it to you anywhere in mainland Korea for 35,000. (a bit more for Jeju)
I also have for sale a baby swing, which comes with the (very strong) brace for mounting it in your doorframe (not pictured). There is a button on the safety bar that plays a tune when your baby presses it. 35,000 won shipped to your home.

The olympus camera and vacuum are gone; the swing and Pentax are still available.
I will be selling an Evenflo ultra exersaucer (3 mo. old), a evenflo electric swing (5 mo. old), and a Graco portable infant carseat in the next month or two, most likely on the Korean auction sites; however, in the interest of goodwill toward my fellow aliens, I am open to offers competitive with the going prices on the sites my wife usually sells on. (i.e., what they're valued at here in Korea, not Kalamazoo, Kiev, Krakov, or Kalimantan) |
