I'm thinking of applying to them, sounds like a good outfit, know someone there who says it's the real deal, but I also know their reputation is crapola in Europe. Thoughts please on WSI Korea! |

I dug up an old thread a couple of weeks back. I really had to dig too. There is suprisingly little on this board with relation to WSI.
I've heard different things but nothing concrete. No stories good, bad or indifferent. Is there some secret to getting info about WSI?
Their web site has very little info on the recruiting page. Not even a salary range is presented. |

I spoke with them last year because I was considering an after school program and thought working at WSI would be a good opportunity to supplment my income. They told me they hire part time, i think for around 25,000/hr and will give permission to add another school or institute on the visa.
I'm not sure how it is to work there. Why not try to get an interview and then speak with some of the current teachers? |

I am interested in exploring business English possibly next year in order to work more in my career field.
Where are Wall Street Institute locations in Korea?
They only list these countries on thier site for jobs available, but mention they in over 26 countries.
France, Spain, Israel, Taewan, and Turkey.
Suprisingly, they do not tell locations available on thier website.
Again, lack of information and communication is the critical error I see when studying about international business ventures. To correlate something else here with this.
Anyone ever look at Wal-Mart Korea website? It's pitifully lacking info with many dead links which is a large part of why they are not performing well here. Lack of information and effective marketing... |

Yeah I saw that info on the recruiting page yesterday as well. Did it strike you as funny that they did not have any info about flight info on there...It's nice that they offer block schedules, but I'm a little weary about the saterday work...I have a feeling that it might be forced on to you one way or another. Also, it sounds like they give you 12 days of vacation, but spread it out as one day a month instead of as a block. Wow, how nice. |
