i know that overall, it has a bad rep

i had an interview about a position and i had a good feeling about the director. the email i received from a teacher also made it sound fairly good. i like the location. i would need to leave asap, which is possible. it pays 2.1, which is better than anything else i have been offered. i know i would have to work more hours and kindy than at some other jobs, but that is usally normal for someone with no experience.

i can't decide what to do

the director SEEMED nice and the teacher made it SEEM nice. i'm not
sure if it is too big of a risk. the fact that the pay is more makes
it seem less iffy.

What ever dude....

Just remember that you've been forewarned.....

They are always nice in the beginning. Slowly they turn into blood sucking slave drivers.

You'll be cheated out of pay and benefits and they will work you like a mule. Stay away.

If you choose to swim in shark infested waters, you may get eaten. You have been warned.

Hey,

This sounds very familiar, I had a phone interview with a nice teacher and director. If this is the same position, the hours are brutal and they tell you to work overtime, you don't have a choice. The director also told me that I had to make up my mine fast cause he had 40 resumes in front of him. No kidding!

Please do the searches, you might save yourself a real bad year. I know that there are plenty of jobs that have got to be better. I am still at my same teaching position here in California till December but I am still getting recruiters sending me job descriptions even though I have written the 3 I had been working with I am not available.

Good luck,

Duke

I work for Kid's College, and have been treated very fairly. Each one is independently owned and managed. Which KC?

They treated me fairly by paying on time, and working with me when I needed time off. I had some minor issues with them, but my issues seem to be common issues that others have experienced with at other schools.

Didn't like having to suger coat progress reports all the time. Could have done without the photo ops.
