If you like Jack Johnson, I need your help. I like the guy and I want to cover one or two of his songs.
Which ones? What are you 2 favorite Jack Johnson songs.

Right now I am learning "Better Together", "Cookie Jar", and "Good People": Looking at just those three i can't decide which to to do.

Whaddya think? Do you see a lot of people cover jack johnson songs.

Better Together is great, and you get to say 'sepia tone lovin' - what a great line.

Mudfootball would be a fun one to do. The kinda cover that'd make a guy look good doing it, imo.

..."Taylor". Tragi-comic lyric. Minimalist, quasi-reggae guitar. Diggit.

do a lot of people cover jack johnson songs?!

do bears s*** in the woods?

you might get away with it in the musical desert that is sk, but nowhere else. bland bland bland.
there are a lot more inventive singer songwriters out there. why not cover songs that you can interpret yourself? bands that strip down the sound of the original track making acoustic versions get far more rep points and show more originality than another jj cover artist...

listen to foo fighers acoustic version of 'everlong', killers 'mr brightside' etc etc
arghh.... better together indeed....

Upside Down, from the Curious George soundtrack, is pretty good.
