This is for anybody who has bought from whypaymore.com:
I'm looking to hit up Vegas for my buddy's bachelor party. WPM has shown me prices as low as 661,800 Won. Some Koreans have told me that there are many taxes and hidden costs that'll be tagged onto that. What kind of extra expenses might be tagged onto 660K?
My experiences in life have led me to believe that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Also, what kind of agent is WPM? Is it more like expedia, where you'll save $ by booking well in advance, or is it like sellofvacations, where you should wait until closer to the date?
Any feedback on whypaymore would be much appreciated.
Thanks. |

That price is certainly quoted without taxes..
I would expect to pay about another 150 000 on top of that...nothing too much more. Still a very good price....
just get a friend to ring for you and find out.... |

The prices at WPM do not include taxes, but they tell you how much the taxes are at the bottom. Sometimes they don't know, but when they know, they show it, and it's no different from how much other travel agents charge you. (60-80K for a round trip to Hong Kong, for example, which is the same everywhere).
WPM is part of the Octopus Travel group, I believe. |

If you were just scanning the WPM board, make sure that the price you saw was not 편도 (one way). They do show if the price is one way or round trip (왕복).
You can probably expect about 200k for taxes and fuel surcharges but if you check the box beside the quoted price it will tell you the taxes. |
