I know you are leaving on Wednesday (my husband's birthday.. btw Wink), so I just want to say a big thank you for all the lunches you have organised. The couple that I went to were a blast and I truly appreciate your organisational skills!

Good luck with whatever you want to do, too! Got a tidbit of it over lunch on the 11th - sounds exciting and I hope you manage to get a job (I am sure you will).

Sad to see you leave but you have to do what you have to do.

So take care and just because you leave Korea doesn't mean you have to leave Dave's! Come back and give us prods on our backs to get these lunches going (and to gossip, of course!).

My ass.

I'd say good luck but I don't believe in the shit (or astrology or any other crap like that).

But, enjoy your life.

CLG has been an active member of this "community" for some time. So if you don't want to read about her then skip the the damn thing and STFU.

As for me thanks for all you had done for me professionally and personally. Your presence will be sorely missed.

Jade

Hotel California, CLG. Hotel California.

Anyways, best of luck with whatever you do and don't be a stranger 'round here.

CLG, I'll always remember you for raving about how great working in the public schools are compared to hagwons, then before long ended up complaining galore about exactly those things that are different about public schools (e.g. coteachers, staff meetings, set curriculum, etc). Laughing Laughing

And for your clear minority voice on the boards: a sane young western woman's perspective.

Good luck whatever.

You'll be missed.

Heh heh heh... three years ago I left korea but I'm still checking out this board Razz

Anyway CLG -all the best for your new adventures. I've always enjoyed reading your contributions to this board and about your experiences in Korea, and best of all, the chance to particpate in a few.

Take care! Very Happy

Best of Everything, CLG. I'm really glad we finally got a chance to talk, if even briefly at the last Dave's get together. It sounded then like you had a plan for your life and I hope that goes well for you. You have been, as VanIslander noted, a voice of reason here. For that reason, I hope you'll still stop by from time to time.

Bon Voyage! Good luck!

If it's not too personal a question, what are your plans from here?

CLG and I have had it out a few times but I have to say that I'll miss not having her around - the site won't feel quite the same with her not around.
