Just wondering if anyone could tell me when the hiring and start dates for the autumn intake of public school positions are done.

The reason I ask is that I am about to book a Trinity TESOL course and want to make sure that I pick the dates with the above in mind so any info would be appreciated.

I've heard from some recruiters that positions become available in late August / early September, but I'll admit that I'm a noob when it comes to Korea...

March and July/August/Sept. The new semester at my high school starts at the end of August.
However, you may be able to find a job outside of these times. I started my public school job halfway through Sept.

When do they start hiring and interviewing for positions starting around August/September?

In July/August/September. If a school is on the ball they may advertise a month or two in advance if not it will be a few weeks.
If you want to start work in August I would look mid July.
