First post and all that...

Been lurking in these forums for some time now and have finally got round to signing up. Hello to the board. Looking forward to becoming a regular poster and joining in the discussions that take place here which, more often than not, are hilarious.

Secondly - and totally shamelessly - I would like to promote my new blog. I've just started it so it's not exactly bursting with material. However, I aim to publish new content on a regular basis. It's all very tongue-in-cheek and will deviate from the *typical* Korean blog you read, i.e 'today I done this, Yesterday I done that' approach.

Anyway, have a look for yourself and feel free to post a comment on the site, will give me the motivation to keep writing. Address can be found in my signature.

i found your blog way too wordy and will definitely lessen the impact of the hilarious insights and adventures you are going to be having in korea

And congratulations on fulfilling the intent of your blog. I mean that in a not-so-good way. Boring. The comments more entertaining.
Try looking for the some of the positive things here. There's lots if you just look around. Getting that camera will be a good step.

Haha! Thanks for the replies...

As regards my negativity towards Korea then I am aware of the positives, but unfortunately, in my humble opinion, they're far outweighed by the negatives. Indeed, a quick glance at the board seems to suggest that most posts are gripes concerning working here and life in general. *2 cents*.

This is my second stint here so we'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out. My job is certainly more bearable, not withstanding the usual hassles.

As regards being a republican then I'm not even from the USA. Wink
