I ticked twice a week, but now I'm thinking I probably average between 2x & 3x a week. Even when I was going out all the time, I doubt I imbibed more than 3 or 4 times during a single 7-day stretch. To get a better sense of who the biggest lushes on Dave's are (which would be the whole point of this thread had I launched it) you need to ask volume & % alcohol, not just frequency. If you work with Koreans and you go drinking Korean style, then you'll consume in one night what now takes me a week or two to get through. In terms of alc. content.

Less than once a week. But when I drink, I DRINK. I don't get in a party mood too often, but when I do, watch out.

My drinking has dropped considerably since I moved here. When I was living in Washington, DC, I was drinking almost every single night. It got a little better when I moved back to Kansas City. And by "better" I mean, I was only drinking four nights a week.

My liver probably loves Korea.

You joined a couple of days ago and are starting off with that post?

Either you're a naive newbie or a lackey for immigration.

I drank alot during my first year in Korea too. Hell!~~ I was even in a soju drinking club.....

But I can soberly say, I haven't had a drink since last August.

F.Y.~ as for scoring "weed" (or "yay) the best place would be Itaewon, but you have to build up enough trust for someone to sell to you.

as for "e", the place to go would be Hongdae, there is a circle of college students that pass it around the clubs on "special" occasions, such as club night.

I have been drinking more since I got here, and have had a few all nighters during the last week and a bit. However I went to Itaewon last night, and realised I just wasnt into it. Felt like a break. This generally happens to me. I really enjoy it for a while, then just get a little bored.

Looking forward to the next bout, but not with any desperation.
