I think that it is interesting how some western women disdain men so much for having Korean girlfriends. Yes, some not so attractive men get hot Korean girls but I can find many not so attractive women back home also dating ugly guys. Furthermore I just saw a Korean man with a red rash down his face and he was with some girl that actually had a behind and a nice body. In retrospect why such harsh words from the ladies about western men with Korean/asian women?

The average male English teacher in Korea is a sexy, successful hunk, and the Western girls are pissy about being shut out of the action. Simple.

2. It's a false premise. I don't hear much complaining from western women about that. I think everybody smirks when they see an ugly guy with a nice-looking girl. But not many people really hold it against them. This whole concept that white girls are all bitter about asian girls is bogus. It probably comes from the mind of some dudes who think they are more important and desirable than they really are. Who would be bitter about "losing" a nerd to "other team"? No big loss.

And also, western women have the luxury of tens of thousands of young, physically fit white men imported right into the middle of Seoul.

Well, I have heard women get pissy about guys with asian girls. I am not saying it is the majority but some definitly do. Maybe it is due to sexual frustration.

My wife would have been way out of my league back home. I wouldn't have even bothered trying as I would have had to compete for her alongside the studliest of the studly studs from Studlyville. I'm a 6 at best, and she's at least a 9. Hooray for target-rich ROK, I say! However, as this violates the sanctity of the unwritten never-more-than-a-2-point-differential universal law of of coupling, it's only natural to expect a little cosmic vengeance in the name of restoring intergalactic symmetry. God's tool for inflicting this re-alignment is the Western woman. No one else has ever given me any grief whatsoever over defying the balance of nature. When we hangout with Korean men - no problem. When we hang out with Western men - no problem. When we hang out with Korean women - no problem. But when we hang out with Western women, there is occasionally a little bit of frost drifted in my direction. Yes, I'm sure some of you are thinking something along the lines of "well that's probably just because you're such a filthy, sick, malodorous pervert". Ok, be that as it may, it is only ever Western women who drop lines like "Don't you realise how lucky you are?!", "I hope you appreciate her!", and my personal fave from a Californian lass I had not met more than five minutes beforehand - "You are a lucky one, aren't you?". Out of context, these may seem like harmless truisms, but as I said, they're usually accompanied by a touch of frost. Of course, it's only a minority who do this, but in my experience, this needling has only ever come from Western women.

My girl friend back home dated a guy soley because he had a sexy accent and was Spanish. I thought he was ugly, but she thought he was hot. Anyway, I didn't really think much of it.

Hey, honestly what's wrong with someone who is considered "ugly" going abroad and getting a woman that back home would only be the thing of his dreams? He's the winner in my book cause he didn't settle for less than he had to. I am far from being ugly and most of my western friends who are women tell me that I am quite handsome. I was never really popular with the ladies though probably because I am honest and not a *beep*. I guess I just never had the right "game"going whatever that happened to be at any one particular moment. If western women are indeed pushing this attitude (and yes, I have experienced this also so it DOES exist) then they're probably the epitome of the type of woman that these negative stereotypes are based. Not all western women are like this. Most of what I have run across is the feminist "Joan of Arc" who thinks that every time a western man is seen with an Asian woman that it automatically is forced servitude/slavery and it's all the guys fault blah...blah...blah. You'll never convince them otherwise so it's best to let them writhe in their self inflicted misery and get on with your lives and be happy.
