For over 2 years, I've been getting about 5 of these non-sense emails a day. They don't seem to advertise anything whatsoever. So I just don't see what the point of them is. If anyone knows, I'd be interested...
So, here's an example email. It's from "Joyce" and the subject is "surf"

Seriously, what is the point of this email? And I honestly get like 5 of these a day. Also, it has an attachment of a ".gif" file which displays an image with more non-sense writings...
I mean, I could understand if this SPAM made sense, but obviously there must be someone out there with way too much time on his hands. Could it just be an insane SPAM computer program that gained some form of insane intelligence or self-awareness!??? Grrrr. |

I often receive emails advertising viagra and various *beep* enhancement treatments. It's quite ironic really, because I have a really tiny *beep* and I suffer from premature ejaculation. I think my girlfriend is sending these emails but I can't be sure.... |

I'd like to know too. I'd never open up any attachments from these people, but sometimes I'll open up a message by accident in case I know the person. |

They send an e-mail hoping someone will respond asking what it's all about. Then they respond with, "Oops. I must've sent it to the wrong address. I was talking about this deal where you can make a lot of money..."
There are a lot of naive people out there. You know? The kind that just must send chain letters or sign up for anything where "You can win!"

I can understand people doing that if the messages made any sense, but the ones I receive are absolute gibberish. I'd never respond to any of them (obviously). |

I think he might mean the ones that have a picture embedded with the actual advertisement in the form of the picture. I get 1 or 2 of these a day that are usually penny stock recommendations trying to drive up market price I assume. They put the giberish in the text part so that it gets past spam filters (which it does at least for yahoo accounts)
The email program hes using probebly just doesnt display the embedded picture. |

They'll bring it up somehow if you bother with them. I don't know for sure. Just a guess. |
