For anyone interested, I'll again be bringing my ps3 down to Hollywood Grill in Itaewon this Sunday. We got it up and working in 720p (and 1080i) on his projector last weekend, and it's a blast.

I've only got a couple of games right now, Resistance: Fall of Man and NHL 2k7. I've got two of the new wireless sixaxis controllers, and one usb converter that allows usage of two more original PS2 controllers, but I only have one PS2 controller. If someone has another PS2 controller to bring down, that would be appreciated, because playing 2-on-2 NHL is sweet. I even beat a couple of Canadians last time, heh heh. I have a bunch of demos (Motorstorm, NBA 07, F1, Ridge Racer) and a few downloaded games (Gran Turismo HD, flow, blast factor) to try, too.

I'll have Motorstorm shipped over here when it comes out in a couple of days, so I'll bring that down as well, eventually (on that link, I recommend saving the video and watching it, rather than streaming, as it's very high resolution). I've been stoked about that since I got the system, because the demo is fun as hell.

I'll probably bring it down around 8 pm.

Did you try any bluray movies yet? Have you found them for sale anywhere in Korea?

Was at Youngsan today, and saw several PS3s for sale (Japanese versions). I think the 20 gig'er was 480,000, and the 60 gig was maybe 580,000.

Is yours Japanese?

I have watched a couple Blurays, but I haven't looked for them in Korea. I'm going home for a month in April, so I'll pick a few up.

As far as personal use, while I'm in Korea I don't really expect to use it for Blurays other than occasionally when I come across a disc or two. It is pretty impressive, though, even if only on my 32" LCD.

The system is American. I had a buddy send it over for $100 before they were readily available. He found an outlet in a small town that had a regular supply before that was normal, and he had been selling them on ebay.

Yep, hockey was sweet again, so I'll be bringing it down on Sunday nights whenever I'm not tied up by the girlfriend.

If anyone wants to bring a spare PS2 controller down, that still would be appreciated. One buddy can bring one occasionally, but he's usually hung over and stuck in a ball Sundays of late.
