You can get them at Hanam Supermarket in Seoul, but just moved here so don't know where any of the "goody" stores are yet...

Sorry, I haven't done much grocery shopping in Gwangju, but there are a bunch of department stores there where you might have some luck. Try the Shinsegye first . . . it's next to the bus terminal. There's an E-Mart next to the bus terminal, which you probably saw, and another E-Mart and Lotte Mart near Uncheon (Honam University) subway station. I hear Home Plus is good, though when I was there I didnt check for limes.

Here are some directions to the places:

And here is a recap of grocery stores in Gwangju: http://www.gwangjuic.or.kr/gic/?K_Mode=app/k2_board.php&k2_code=e_tips&page=1&k2_no=3&mode=eng&PHPSESSID=99e3f1aebf483ca6c1a4d121d02fbdff

I don't know where to get limes. I'm going to do some big store grocery shopping later today, and I'll let you know if I see any.

I am going to try to make a list of all the big stores for interesting groceries in Gwangju. I'm sure others will help me fill out the list!

Shinsegae Department Store, next to the bus terminal
Hyundai Department Store, near the train station
Lotte Department Store, near downtown (look for the tall gold Kwangju Bank building next to it)
-I think they all have their grocery sections in the basement

E-mart next to Shinsegae/bus terminal
E-mart near Seo-Bang Market and Gwangju Gyo Dae (Education College)
E-mart in Sangmu, across from the 5-18 Memorial Park
Lotte Mart in Chomdan
Lotte Mart in Sangmu
HomePlus in MunHeung, near the 88 Olympics tennis courts

There are BigMarts scattered all over the city, but these days their selection is the pits, especially BigMart Day and Big City. Haitai Mart seems to be out of business.

I've been looking for them (limes) for ages and never found them. We have a friend who lives in Mokpo - 1 hour nearby - who has found them at the Lotte Mart in Hadang (dong) in Mokpo. Whenever they come up for a visit they bring them.
Also if you are new to town you should drop by Speakeasy - we can discuss all kinds of things to help you get more settled into the area.
Wanna play Risk? Darts? Poker? learn Hapkido? volunteer at the orphanage? play music? swap media files?
there's a map on the website.
