Is there someplace online that has bus schedules between Busan and Ulsan, express or regular? |

Busses run every 10 minutes to Ulsan from Dongbu bus terminal in Nopodong. Bus #127. 3000 won, takes 1 hour (Lonely Planet, 2004). Intercity busses also stop at Duhil Stn if Nopodong is inconvenient.
From tour2korea:
"Regular intercity buses from Busan to Ulsan run every 10 minutes from 5:40 am to 10:00 pm at Busan Dongbu Intercity Bus Terminal. Overnight intercity buses run every 30 minute from 10:20 pm to 2:00 am. Intercity buses take about one hour. Regular intercity bus costs 3,200 won as of March 2005."
For exact times, you could try:
http://english.tour2korea.com/01TripPlanner/Transportation/bus_busandong.asp?kosm=m1_4&konum=5
Use the Busan Dongbu Gyeongnam Intercity Bus Terminal "bus schedule" drop own menu at the bottom, & input required fields. |

Haeundae is nowhere near Ulsan, & it's a satellite suburb of Busan. It also has a subway line. I used it in June, to attend the sand festival. |

I'm pretty sure there is a bus from the small bus terminal across from Haeundae station. It makes several stops at little villages and towns between Ulsan and Busan. I'm not sure where you end up in Ulsan. Its bright orange. You could call hte tourist number (maybe its 1330?) |

Does anyone know where the Haeundae station is? I just moved there. I need to get to Ulsan on some weekends to see my gf's family. |

Go out the front of Haeundae train station (you can also take the subway tehre). Look a bit to the left and across the street. You'll see where all these buses are lined up (city and other). There is a little shack/ticket office where you can buy tickets. (I've never taken the bus from tehre, so don't hate me if I'm wrong.) The bus is bright orange and says Kangnam Tour or Kagnam Express. Can't remember which.
IMO, if you are bothering to go to Haeundae statio anyway though, just take the train from tehre to Ulsan. Easy |
