Are Public Schools required to pay Pension? What happens if they don't and you report it?

They are required to pay into pension and medical as well as taxes.

They should begin on the 1st pay period AFTER you get your ARC. They will collect back to when you started work.

If however you are working in an after school program this is NOT usually the case.

With most after school programs in the public school system you are working for a hakwon that subcontracts you to the school and many of them burn their staff by not paying pension, medical or proper withholding taxes.

My 2nd year here. My contract is with the school, singed by the principal. But, there is a company running the program. I don't want to burn the school if they are unaware. The company said that the school is responsible, but don't want to deal with it even though they are the liason.

You are subcontracted.... call the pension office and light the fire. The company is burning you and handing you a line of *beep*.
