Anyone know if this is true or not... wouldn't surprise me, it's one of the worst tasting 'drinks' on the planet.

formaldehyde

Pronunciation: \fȯr-ˈmal-də-ˌhīd, fər-\
Function: noun
Etymology: International Scientific Vocabulary form- + aldehyde
Date: 1872
: a colorless pungent irritating gas CH2O used chiefly in aqueous solution as a disinfectant and preservative and in chemical synthesis

what is it...? Shocked

Like you said, a preservative.....but also notorious carcinogen.

Whether soju contains formaldehyde I don't recall encountering proof either way. I think OB contains it.

I'm sure Cass contains some nast Sh*t too. That metallic taste has to come from something synthetic, I'm sure...

Anyone tried Chinese Soju... Jeesus.... fully deserves the term 'firewater' much worse even than Korean soju...

Anyone tried the Korean drink 'Chongha...?' Tastes pretty much the same as Japanese Sake, in fact Ithink it's pretty much the same drink...

A good alternative to soju... Nice taste, subtle... brings on a nice slow, golden type of drunkeness... virtually no hang over the next day...

Wouldn't that depend on just how much you drank? Anyway, don't you KNOW that soju DOESN"T give you a hangover? Wink Haven't you talked to a Korean about it Question

A russian friend once noticed there was a difference between Russian and Western "I drank too much last night" stories. He noted in Russia men will talk about how much they drank. Even when they knew they could not drink any more they continued to drink and drink and drink. It's very macho. When Westerners talk about their nights of excess, they tend to tell stories about where they threw up.

It's British custom to brag about how much you drank and also discuss whether you puked or not.

I voted very unlikely.
The only times I've puked soju was having it with pizza.
Pretty stupid and I learned quickly.

Does puking in your mouth and holding back the rest count as puking? Because I did that once. Just puking that mouthful made me feel better, so it was probably overeating that made me do it, but the soju didn't help. Never fully puked from drinking, but that's just cuz I rarely drink heavily. And when I do, I don't eat anything with it.

I don't know about that, but it's definitely 37% demon piss. I never puke, and I always wish I had...
