finished my contract and the school owe me for 6 of the 10 holidays I didn't take
they want to just fudge a figure, so I am wondering what is the standard way of calculating this?

I would take your average monthly pay divided by 22 (the average working days in a month).
Or however much you teach on average a day times your overtime pay rate.
See which equals out best for you. Of course tey will have some funny maht that divides your average pay, by 30 or 31 b/c thats how many days are in a month. get ready for that. They won't count weekends as nonholidays. |
