Your boys into this game? I gather them all saying "head shot" in unison stems from this game.

Yep. I drew a smiley face on one of my worksheets today when a group got all of the answers correct. When I came back a few minutes later I saw that the face was now a mess and had the writing "headshot" in big letters next to it!

Just opened an account. Same deal as Counter Strike, but with crappier graphics. Thousands of hangookin on there to shoot at though.

An obscure reference I made to a student:

She wrote "hammer" on her essay. I wrote "it's" and "time" around it. I'm sure if she lives a 1,000 years she'll never encounter the master works of MC Hammer.

This one had me a bit worried until I realized they were all guns from Sudden Attack:

I just pictured this kid doing his future national service..."Sir, it is the private's duty to inform the senior drill instructor that Private Pyle has a full magazine that is locked and loaded, Sir! "

Don't be too sure ... I heard MC Hammer blasting from one of those 'coffee girl' scooters roaring around my town.

I just started a new class of sixth graders and there is a group of super obnoxious boys. Everytime I ask them a question, they answer with "headshot". For example, Me: "What types of drinks would you drink on a hot day?" Girl: "Lemonade" Other Girl: "Iced Tea" Boy: "HEADSHOT LEMONADE!" Other Boy: "HEADSHOT ICED TEA!"

Apparently, headshot is also a structure you can see on hills, a type of tree, an article of girl's clothing, a season, an adjective and a present progressive verb.

It's growing old very quickly... Rolling Eyes

I have a boy in one of my classes who I whack in the head with my attendence folder when he starts annoying me. All of the students, in unison, yell "HEADSHOT!" and that is his official warning not to cross me again or I dole out a real punishment. Strangely, it seems to work.
