Among right-wing female pundits, I think we can all agree that Ann Coulter is hideous, Michelle Malkin is doable, and Arianna Huffington can turn a man gay.

Malkin is so doable, saying so is like stating the obvious. Still, I'm glad you did. Cool

Coulter looks almost ghoulish to me. Shocked

OP:

I think her offense was choosing the wrong venue to provoke and titillate. She certainly does nothing to counter the perception that conservatives are "mean" but then again the Left is as mean-spirited as they come and without any sense of humor.

Some of you lefties seem to forget that Coulter is an ENTERTAINER, nothing more. Whether you think she's entertaining or not is up to you, but that's what she is, just like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Franken, etc.

Yes, but let's say that some well-known liberal entertainers like the Dixie Chicks or Barbara Streisand started spewing racial or religious slurs while making a political point during a concert. I don't think conservatives would really buy the argument that these people are just entertainers.

on the other hand:

No, probably not but the mainstream press would downplay it or give it a pass as they always do to those who gaffe from the Left.

I like Edwards, think he is a good man. I'd vote for him or Obama with no qualms.

Hillary though? God help us all. I like Sam Brownback (plus Rudy and McCain) more than her . At least the man stands for something and has some innovative ideas. I admire his dedication to Darfur. A shame more Senators aren't as passionate as he is about that type of cause.

As for coulter, I'm surprised people still pay her heed. She's way past her 5 minutes of fame.

I watched Ann Coulter last night in the gayest way I could. I was on a stairmaster at a gym, slack-jawed at her proud defense of calling someone a "faggot" on the same stage as presidential candidates and as an icon of today's conservative movement. The way in which Fox News and Sean Hannity and, even more repulsively, Pat Cadell, shilled for her was a new low for Fox, I think - and for what remains of decent conservatism. "We're all friends here," Hannity chuckled at the end. Yes, they were. And no faggots were on the show to defend themselves. That's fair and balanced.
