Today was cold. My ipod died and wouldn't turn on again, then started working again at home. |

I've had several things turn off while walking out in the cold, I imagine an IPOD is the same.. doesn't seem to cause any problems
of course, long term, you never know |

I keep mine in my pocket with the screen turned towards my leg. This keeps it warm, and the screen protected from damage if you bump into something.

Cold does sap the battery, keep it warm. |
