Hey All,

1994 Kia Pride B for sale. It is a 4 door automatic with 137,000kms. It has air-con and power windows in the front. Very roomy trunk.

I would like to sell it by the end of this month. Im asking 1.5 mil but am open to any offer you think is reasonable.

I also have it listed on a used car dealers site here in Seoul. He has lots of pictures posted on his site. Just click the cars icon and then hit Kia and it will bring you to the pics of my car.

You can pm me or give me a call at 010-5807-5771.

One of the few cars I've seen here that the seller isn't asking way more than the car is worth (1 million is within the norm for a 1994 Pride Beta). I hope you sell it quickly.

Due to recent developements with said Sh*t car I am no longer going to sell it. I may just shove it off the Hannam Bridge.

I do however have a warning for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle living in the Yongsan area. None of the car shops in that area are legite. So if someone rips you off the Yongsan consumer rights center or whatever it is can do nothing to help you.

This one guy in particular is running a very shady business and I would NOT recommend him to anyone. His name is Bill Downer. He is an American "gentleman" living in Korea dealing used cars. Please AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!! His info is as follows:

Bill Downer / CEO
Mr. Bill's Cars
www.mrbillscars.zoomshare.com
Cell: 010-4555-6266
Fax: 02-797-7768

Now I might as well tell you the whole story....I bought this car from him about a month ago. Actually he took me around to see a few cars and this one ended up being at a Korean Garage. He assured me that Mr. Kim was his partner and that the car was of good quality. No accidents, no repairs needed and only 130,000Kms. What a Score. Whatever...

Anyway the day after I bought the effin car it wouldn't start and I was late for work. I called him and told him I would like my money back the car was having problems already and I didn't want to deal with it all year. He said it's fine just needed new battery cables. He said I was over reacting whatever. I told him I wanted my money back. He said he couldn't do that and besides he didn't sell me the car the Korean guy did.

This is where it all began he kept saying the Korean guy sold me the car and the Korean guy claimed the American guy sold me the car. Big drama. In the end the Amrican guy put it back on his website to try and sell it to someone else.

Now not even a month later the effin engine catches fire on my way to work. Turns out the engine block is cracked or something and the whole thing needs to be replaced. The warrenty the Korean guy tells me I had is void because somehow it is my fault the Engine Block is Cracked.

When my co-worker tried calling the consumer center or whatever it is for the Yongsan-gu area they informed her that there are NO car companies properly registered in that area so there is nothing they can do.

Before I finish I would also like to appologize for posting the car on this site. I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through the same frustrations I have been going through.

I hope you all enjoyed my story. Please beware when buying a car in the Itaewon or Yongsan area. I hope you are all having a better day than I. Ciao.

I too had a rather terrible experience with Mr. Bill. Last year I was going to buy a car and I was already to go and get it when at the very last minute he told me I had to bring xxx amount of $$$$ and it was more than what I was originally told. When I asked Why So Much, he basically made me feel like I didn't listen to him and that I was stupid. He said the money was for the inspection fee, road tax, insurance, etc. I told him from the very beginning that I was on a very limited budget and that I needed to know the price of EVERYTHING in advance to make sure I had enough funds.

Not only that, but like all salesman, he wanted to me to purchase the car rigtht then and there, after going to look at it. I told him I wanted to think about it for a day or two and he pushed and pushed and pushed. I was not happy with his sales tactic at all. Needless to say, I didn't purchase a car from him.

So, I too warn people about dealing with him. His prices aren't all that fair and I don't believe him to be a completely honest man. You are better off buying a used car without a middle man.
