a lot of what I read in this article about the field of Robotics, and the pioneering work being done by Koreans just seems too far fetched. A robot in every Korean household in the next 8-13 years? Maybe if they have really low standards as to what is considered a robot.

For any technology to take off it needs sex. The internet had porn, Korea needs to invent the sex bot! |

About 8 years ago, KAIST in Daejon held an international robot Olympics.
On another note, according to some ajummas in the public bath, they 'endure night work' with their husbands...so I think robotic sex has already arrived in Korea. |

They already have... it's an advanced rubberized sex doll. I forget which site I saw it on, but it was constructed to look lifelife (like the Japanese kiosk greeter robot).
