Depends on where the motherland is. I find Sept still too hot to be enjoyable.

				| LATE September or October would be better...unless you're from Florida or warm places like that.... | |

				| Based on temperature records, October has the same temperatures as May.
I love going to the beach in September because the weather is still hot and humid and the water warmer than in June and yet the Korean hordes have disappeared because as of September 1st the summer is officially over for some absurd reason, with poor students wearing a jacket and sweating all the while.

Early September is typhoon season; late September/early October is the best time for visitors not to sweat too much nor face a storm or crowds, and its when a bunch of fall festivals begin to kick off. Great time.

Average temperatures for Busan area in September: LOW 19 C HIGH 26 C and humid as hell, with the first two weeks of the month hotter significantly than the last two weeks. Subtract a couple of degrees if you'll be up in the Seoul area.

				| September 05 seemed like basically an extension of August, but Sept 06 (when I'd just returned to Korea from a month's holiday) seemed cooler, clearer and generally very pleasant. However, a general guide would be to expect summery conditions with occasional rainy days.

				| September is a great month, but not if you want to spend your day walking around seeing sights because, like others have said, you will be sweaty in the end. October is the golden month in Korea because it usually has perfect weather. However, I do remember wearing my winter jacket in mid-October 2004 for about a week. Tell them to come at the start of October though, it is perfect. | |
