Hey man,
You won't find much of anything in the way of Korean middle school lesson plans on the net. The middle school curriculum doesn't actually include a native English teacher anywhere in it, whereas, the education offices have gone through great lengths to provide a plethora of resources available online to Elementary School teachers. Why they need these to play a video of Zeeto and sing a song, I don't know.
Where do you live? I've kept every lesson plan from pretty much every demo lesson I've ever attended.
I'm assuming you've been given copies of the text book. Have a real talk with your co-teachers to get an idea of their expectations. I cover speaking a listening areas of the textbook. I add interesting games and activities, extended language and such when needed, and interesting cultural tidbits. With some co-teachers I take the general idea of what they're teaching the kids and make a totally new lesson that extends past it. I could probably e-mail you one or two sample lessons if you're in a bind but I'm sure you'll figure it out. |

| At my school they're leveled in the Korean teachers' classes but not in mine. However, that may change with grade 2's after mid-terms. |

first do an intro on yourself. make a little powerpoint if you can with some pics of your home country- some factsd about yoru home country etc.... they like it. then teach maybe some words about your home country.
then you can play bingo with those words
or make like an introductions sheet with like
name
email
favorite food
favorite movie
brothers/sister>
etc
get them to fill it out and them chage sheet and introduce their friend to the class and you can teach them sentences on how to do that etc....
that's what i did for my grade 1's in MS |
