I need to change my address and work location on my visa on Friday, but the fee is 60,000원. Is this something that is normally covered by your public school? There is no mention of this in the standard GEPIK contract.

why do you need to change the addy info? is it a real necessity? i was shifted to different apts before, but didnt bother with updating it. i suppose it's all dependent on the circumstances as to who pays it, but with public schools, i cant see why they wouldnt pay it. it's the hagwons where you might get refused.

because I received a LOR and am changing my place of employment. i actually moved my physical address last september but never bothered to report it, so i figured i'd do both at the same time.

What I tell my employers is - that seeing as THEY OWN MY VISA, they should pay for all and any related costs.

I've never paid a Won towards visa fees.
