I showed this presentation a few days ago that I made from a hodge podge of posts here on Dave's and elsewhere. Made these teachers laugh so I thought I'd share it here.

Any of your own to add?

Another funny one in the same folder is about incorrect English signs from around the world

I called it Broken English >

you find nothing funny about drinking water out of a small envelope.

you prefer Hite Stout over Guinness.

you chuckle when you see other foreigners.

When you go back to visit your home country, you find yourself bowing and shaking hands with two hands when you meet someone older than yourself.

your shopping cart has a case of Hite beer and a large box of Maxin Coffee Mix.

you storm past the corn dog stands to buy some toasted squid.

you know the lyrics to the latest K pop songs.

you ask other foreigners "How old are you?"

you start comparing how long you have been in Korea with how long he's been in Korea.

You call a hot dog a sausage.
You call a cell phone a hand phone.
You cut your meat with scissors.
You lay your clothes out on the floor to dry.

Watching adults stick their fingers up each other's asses makes you laugh
You forget easy words in English but remember them in Korean
You say "Fighting" instead of "break a leg" or "do your worst" or the like
You have alcohol with dinner almost every night
You go to a singing room before you are drunk
You fall asleep standing on the subway
You think nothing of carrying 2 or 3 hundred thousand won in your wallet nor spending that in an evening - every weekend
You think North Korea is not a threat to South Korea at all and at times even forget both sides are still technically at war
You forget how to use punctuation in your sentences..... Very Happy

At least you remember that meat loaf isn't 'steak'. You should pack your bags while there's still hope.
