I'm in the process of applying for a position at Dongui Middle School, and am looking for any information.
Good place, this Yangjeong? and the school? |

| its a couple of stops from seomeyon. not much there particularly, a disused US military base takes up most of yangjeong, but you are close enough to seomeyon, dongnae and other places that you can take a bus or subway to get to the good stuff in busan easily enough. |

I've lived in Yangjeong for a long time. The previous poster is right. There is nothing much there but it is fairly central.
It's about a 6000-7000won taxi ride from PNU or BKNU/KU nightlife areas. All the shopping chain stores are close if that matters. one side of the subway has a couple of big apartment complexes. The other side to Yeonsan dong has mostly older housing, or some newer 'villa' buildings.
It's about 40 minutes to Haeundae beach by subway. |

| Decent enough area. Close to Somyeon (a busy district) and has easy access to most of the city because of the public transportation choices in that area. |

I'll be there, it looks like, at the beginning of April.
What's the mood of the place? How do you spend your time there? |

I just go about living.
I work a fair bit so I rest at home usually. The neighbourhood is nice enough, the local bakers know me well. One in particular makes excellent multigrain bread. If I do stuff it could be all over the city. It's a nice base of operations. |
