I wondered the same thing (about all those deleted posts), however too often on this board the men turn and start screaminbg about how unfairly their frat brother in Uni got treated. As well all the anacdotale info about fake rape claims are just as stupiod as those who post about Jewish conspiracies and who attacked on 9/11.
Rapists should go to jail for life.
Guys who sell dope should not, they should be given a buisness licence and GST number. |

| A handfull of deleted posts and a poster or two who think 40 years is a bit harsh. One swan does not a summer make. You're just going to have to go along with the OP here --- Saudi way sucks in comparison to the West. And leave it at that. |

I am an adamant defender of women's rights in Islamic (and all) countries. Islamic law in general is a violation of the most basic human rights and is about as religious and righteous as the Spanish Inquisition or the Salem Witch Trials.
However, this woman wasn't sentenced for being raped (as women still are in other cases). She was sentenced for being in a car alone with a non-related male. Apparently, the male also received the same sentence. It was not because she had sex with the men.
And, in fairness, the prosecutors sought the death penalty for the men involved (who were sentenced to prison). I don't agree with the Saudi's islamic legal system, but I find this far less heinous than women who are actually sentenced (or killed) because they were raped. |
