And it kinda sucked. Nothing like the Boston aquarium, but I liked the jungle atmosphere in parts of it and the seahorses. Oh, and the purple and pinkish-blue lobster was cool too. Other than that, I got body checked by 5 mothers and kids mistook me for their mothers a few times too. I can't believe it was W15,000 for that! Well, actually I can.

Are there any other aquariums in Korea? I am going to Jeju Island soon, so I think there should be some sort of tropical aquarium I can see.

Personally, I felt my 15,000 was well enough spent. But the doctor fish gave me a nice manicure.

There's an aquarium in Busan at Haeundae Beach. It's not amazing, but I didn't regret going. I will be going again in a month.

I can get you right in the water of the one in Busan if you are interested. Not so many kiddies in there either.

Oh yeah...As far as I know, there is no aquarium on Jeju (at least there wasn't when I lived there in 2004). You could do some diving though.

The best Aquariums I've ever been to is probably Baltimore and Atlanta. Atlanta has the largest Aquarium in the world. I'm from Virginia so its just easier to go to Baltimore.

I thought the COEX aquarium was a good way to tool around and kill an hour or so, but not really anything to write home about. Their tank setup was nice though. In some American aquariums there are so many railings and such that you can barely see anything in the water. The viewing in the COEX one was really good.

There is no way you can go to the Boston or Baltimore aquarium and then not feel that the COEX aquarium is a waste of time. Considering that there is no way the designers could not have known about how many people would jam into it, its remarkably poor design is even more so. There's simply no space in the place and most of what's there is not very interesting anyway.

On the other hand, there's nothing besides a warning sign to stop you from sticking your hand into the first shark tank. Laughing That must be a unique feature among the world's aquariums.

Good way to dispose of a bad student on a class trip isn't it? Laughing

They still have that "submarine" with all the windows. It's pretty cool.

No need for the quotation marks on 'submarine'. It's not a joke...it's a full on sub.

It is more fun to ride on the outside though... Wink
