Hey all,

Do they count hagwan experience for the payscale in PS's?

Including my year at a hagwan, I've got three years experience. But, since one of my years is composed of several part-time gigs worked simlultaneously, they're hummin' and hawin' about giving me level 1.

I thought two years was sufficient.

I'm in the process of packing to go to work. I made the commitment to the school based on the assumption that they'd accept my experience and pay me for it. Frankly, I'm a bit frustrated to be getting hit with this at this late point in the process.

What d'ya think?

Not all public school jobs are the same. Not all public school jobs are with EPIK or GEPIK.
