So my visa expires in a couple of weeks but my contract expires almost 3 weeks afterwards.

My boss keeps putting off the extension that I will need to stay in the country. I feel like I am being set up and I need to protect myself.

What would you do?

Go to immigration, pay the 30k won and get the extension. If you go first thing in the morning you can be in and out in about 30 minutes.

You need:

your contract (with expiry date clearly shown to be past your current period of sojourn (past your ARC date),
your ARC,
your passport,
copy of your bosses business registration,
guarentor form from your boss,
30k won.

They will extend you until the last day shown on your contract.

Don't wait for your boss. Be proactive.

Thanks for your reply ttompatz. The problem is my boss is not being cooperative with providing me with the business registration and other documents that I do not have access to.

I really think he just does not care. So far, I have been just gently confrontational.
