Vista is nothing special. My new Dell lappy came with Home Premium, no choice to opt for any version of XP. Does what I want it to (mostly), looks pretty, the sidebar gadgets are kinda cool but the novelty wears off pretty quick. All kinds of software compatibility issues at this point, overall wouldn't reccommend it to anyone.
