About a year ago, I was crashed out at the sauna under the Hamilton hotel, and was rudely awakened by a guy grabbing my wiener. I wound up to hit him but realized, even in my drunken stupor, that he was really small and was also totally shocked at my reaction. I angrily told him to go away and he did. I fell back asleep.
Anyway, I was there again last week, as I had spent most of my money in bars and didn't want to shell out 30 bucks for a hotel. I fell asleep with my back against the wall, and whattaya know, was woken up again by somebody fiddling with my package. This time I was madder and whacked the guy across the temple with my forearm and yelled at him to get the (#*$ away from me. Another guy woke up and told me to be quiet. I yelled at him too.
The guy I hit looked absolutely horrified and scurried out of the room, terribly ashamed and embarrassed (I would guess, from the expression on his face).
I felt really sorry for the kid, actually. I guess that's something they do normally at that sauna. Tough country to be quear in I guess.
So anyways, heads up on the Hamilton Sauna. I had slept there many times before the Incident last year, and once or twice since, and nobody tried to get at me. But now I'm thinking, maybe that's what the place is all about, on Saturdays anyway...great place to go for free handjobs, I guess, for those of you who like that sort of thing.
Anyone else have something like that happen?

Dude, just an update from the resident homo Del Disco is a gay nightclub. Ever since that opened its become a gay destination, especially for gay movie stars and their hags. As a result, those of us in the know, know that the Hamilton Sauna is a hookup spot. Sorry that you were molested, many Korean guys just assume we're all gay.

Can't believe that a normal hotel's sauna is such a bad place. Those gay people should be moved to an island or be shot. Jesus!

There are no gay people (thank God!) in Korea - how could that happen?

OP. It sucks you got bothered. I would have put my arm on him like that too, (and maybe thrown a left to make sure he got the message). It aint' a gay bashing thing. You have an absolute right to be left alone, anywhere, anytime, and especially that way.

I didn't say it was a bad place; I'm just saying it's a place gay people go for anonymous sex.
I went there loads of times before anyone ever hit on me, and the thing a year ago I basically dismissed as an isolated incident.
It seems now it kinda specializes in that sort of thing. Figured I'd put the word out a) so straight people don't get molested and b) so lonesome gay people don't get bashed by some rabid drunken homophobe.
I should've not gone there, but I was super tired and lazy and drunk and figured if there were any hungry gay folks there they'd clue in that I was straight. So I was wrong; big deal. I didn't get sexually assaulted. I got hit on, I made some poor kid cry, and that's that. No need to make everybody wear pink triangles or shoot them or anything...

I'm not apologizing, friendly ghost...I said I FELT sorry for the kid. But really..sexual assault, my ASS. If him and his guys had held me down and had at me, ok, sure, that'd be assault; but I'm a drunk idiot, passed out in a gay jimjilbang, and some guy gropes me? Gimme a break. I was being dumb and blithe and I no doubt should've stayed someplace else. That dude was probably just doing the same thing he did every Saturday.

Anyway, I wrote the post stupidly thinking it might do some good, but I realize now it seems more like I'm baiting people into saying ignorant stuff about how cool they are because they think gay people are yucky. Whatever. If feeling sorry for some poor scared kid makes me gay, then by all means, I'm your Three-Dollar Bill.
