I looked and looked and it appears to me that they aren't showing 300 on IMAX here...which TOTALLY SUCKS! I could be wrong though....
I'm going to see it tonight...the digital version...I guess it just looks better or something that way.
I found these links:
http://www.cgvimax.com/
http://www.63city.co.kr/
Both appear to not be showing 300 but does anyone know something about this that I don't? |

They are. CGV Yongsan has it, and I saw it there last night. Very, very well-suited to the giant screen. That movie's just full of balls.
Oh, and there was an ad for Spider-Man 3 in IMAX before it. So we can rest easy on that one, as well. |

Fair call really. Portraying Xerses as a petulant catamite seems like B.S. to me. I've always imagined him as a big black bearded dude(ala http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Tresury_relief.JPG). Still, as fantasy it looks pretty amazing. |

Is Yongsan in Seoul or elsewhere? Is there a website for that movie theater? I'll be in Seoul this weekend, so if Yongsan is in Seoul I definitely want to check it out.
Thanks! |

Dear Kat2 and anyone else,
sorry, my friend is organising it, I've never actually been to the IMAX in Busan. I just know its at the CGV cinema, which used to have Carrefour in the basement but now has Homeever. You get off at Beomnaegol Station on line 1, not Seomyeon, and its about a 5-10 minute walk from there. If you absolutely positively have to see it tomorrow, then I know it's playing at 9pm because that's when I'm going.
Sorry I can't be more help...because of that little rascal to my left, I haven't been to the movies in a year. I can give you more info on Saturday. Or directions from the station earlier, if you need them. |
