Does anyone know of any UK culture based activities in Seoul? My High School is taking a handful of students to Seoul hoping to promote foreign culture, in particular, British culture.
I believe the British council is closed on weekends. Is there any museums or other places where students could learn a little about the UK?
It's a long shot, I know. |

Ha ha.
They think we are all 'Gentlemen / women' who still wear bowler hats. Oh and we only drink tea and can't eat spicy food. |

As soon as I pull myself out of my igloo and stop eating my wildcat I'd like to know what you are wearing on your heads these days other than bowlers? |

Yeah, I do as it happens. It's called binge drinking. Being English myself, I'd be more than happy to help promote yob-culture to the uninitiated.
If you really wanted to let them *experience* English culture first-hand, then take them to a football match and then get them to subsequently smash the place up, irrespective of the outcome. |

Do you think they care about British culture? Their country has a glorious 5,000 year history and FOUR (4) distinct seasons. |

My school took the kindergarten to an "English Village" mock-up somewhere in Seoul. They had grass and everything.
Otherwise visit Geckos in Itaewon and order fish and chips. No Hite for the students though. Can't give baby booze. |
